Little Ian, from the Netherlands, was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a very aggressive type of brain cancer, on March 10th, 2018. It metastasized to his spine. Doctors later found out it was subtype 3, the one with the worst prognosis and in a short time, Ian’s cancer increased. 
Ian is 4 years old. His treatment plan includes 6 weeks of radiation therapy along with low dose chemotherapy + 26 weeks of intense chemo. In only 6 weeks he has had 3 surgeries and overcame a lot of obstacles! At diagnosis, he spent shy of one entire month at the hospital and on April 17th, he had his very first radiation treatment, now finished. His chemotherapy however only started on July 2nd. This little guy has been through so much! His smile is so beautiful despite fighting this monster. He is now tube fed.

Update: Ian slipped away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on November 24th, 2018. Fly high, Warrior boy.
