Tessa is a wonderful little warrior! Tessa was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) or for short, Leukemia.
She was just 18 months old at diagnosis, on February 14th, 2018, and will need 2.5 entire years of treatment! She had her port placed on her chest as well as abdominal surgery to fix a problem with her bowels. Treatment is due to finish in May 2020! Tessa is also a Down Syndrome Warrior!
We love you little Tessa, fight warrior princess!

Well Hello there! Welcome to Warriors of Gold. I'm Kim, a 19-year-old fighting for better treatments for childhood cancer and more funding. Not only is childhood cancer research severely underfunded in the United States, but it's also even worse around the world. Right now children get 7% of funding meanwhile adults get 93%. Childhood cancer is not rare, in fact, it's getting very common!
