Little Weston is 2 years old and fighting AML – Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This diagnosis came just a week after he celebrated his second birthday! Weston also presented chloroma – a mass composed by leukemia cells on the right side of his face; chemotherapy started on September and next Weston must go through 2 daily sessions of radiation therapy, followed by intensive chemotherapy before proceeding to a life-saving bone marrow transplant! 💛💛

Well Hello there! Welcome to Warriors of Gold. I'm Kim, a 19-year-old fighting for better treatments for childhood cancer and more funding. Not only is childhood cancer research severely underfunded in the United States, but it's also even worse around the world. Right now children get 7% of funding meanwhile adults get 93%. Childhood cancer is not rare, in fact, it's getting very common!
