Evie is a Cancer survivor! Evie’s journey began on 2014 when she started experiencing some scary symptoms – difficulty breathing, fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, fever, night sweats, weight loss for no reason, itching, acid reflux, chronic pain as well as indigestion.
After multiple doctor visits in which Evie and her parents were told ” She’s just experiencing growing pains”, it was found Evie had a massive 40-centimeter tumor inside her chest!
Evie was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She went through Chemotherapy, and then became cancer free – however, cancer came at a cost, like it always does. 5 years later Evie is struggling to live with the aftermath of cancer treatment. She struggles with pain and needs a wheelchair to go pretty much everywhere… Evie is dedicated to helping other kids with cancer as well as chronically ill patients. She sends care packages to those who are going through a rough time!
