Harry is a kind and cheeky 10-year boy from England. In 2014 Harry was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, an extremely aggressive type of cancer. It had already spread all over his body ( metastasized ).
He was just 6 years old at the time and had frequent nose bleeds, complained his tummy hurt and his legs were tired – some of the signs Harry experienced. He was taken to the doctor, however, told he had an infection and prescribed antibiotics.
He underwent 2 entire years of intensive chemotherapy, immunotherapy, major surgery, high dose chemotherapy, investigations, radiotherapy and more, Harry rung the bell to mark the end of his treatments!
This warrior was cancer free / in remission until November of 2018, when his family was told he had relapsed Neuroblastoma, now in his CNS (central nervous system), a tumor on his brain.
Harry needed emergency surgery to remove the tumor.
There is currently no treatment for relapsed Neuroblastoma. Harry is now going for a trial either in New York or Barcelona and such trial is extremely expensive!
Fight, little one! 💛
