Brave Lily is fighting stage 4 Ewings Sarcoma. Ewings sarcoma is a type of cancer that starts in the bones or soft tissue around them. Lily was diagnosed on April 28th, 2017 at 9 years old… She already went through 14 rounds of chemotherapy, Proton Beam radiation therapy and surgery to remover her shoulder blade, where the cancer was located.
Lily and her family had to travel to America for Dendritic Cell Therapy – which is a form of immunotherapy as Lily relapsed a short 6 weeks after being given clear scans. This time it’s very aggressive, so Lily has now started a new type of chemotherapy.
