Little Aleksandra is fighting relapsed Neuroblastoma. Firstly diagnosed in June of 2016, she relapsed 1 year and around 6 months later, in December of 2017.
Aleksandra is almost 4 years old! She has received 10 rounds of chemotherapy, a long 10-hour operation, radiation therapy, stem cell harvest and transplant (bone marrow autotransplantation ), 2 high dose chemotherapies and MIBG therapy. Some days ago this little warrior started immunotherapy as well! 💛💛 You can do this beautiful Aleksandra!
Well Hello there! Welcome to Warriors of Gold. I'm Kim, a 19-year-old fighting for better treatments for childhood cancer and more funding. Not only is childhood cancer research severely underfunded in the United States, but it's also even worse around the world. Right now children get 7% of funding meanwhile adults get 93%. Childhood cancer is not rare, in fact, it's getting very common!
