Little Theo is a leukemia fighter – infant pre b ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) with the MLL Gene rearrangement. At just 4.5 months, Theo was diagnosed, on August 31st, 2017.
Little Theodore spent 227 consecutive days in the hospital, had 2 surgeries – one to place a Hickman line, one to implant a power port.
Theo has finished all infused and intrathecal chemotherapy treatments so far and now does oral chemo! Maintenance finishes on August 31st, 2019.
Theo’s white blood cell count was at an astonishing 119 thousand at diagnosis, when normally it should be below 11 thousand.
Throughout this ordeal this little boy has endured breathing problems, vocal cord paralysis, due to the chemotherapy drug “Vincristine”, croup,a 8 day long fever and much more.
Unfortunately, after being clear of cancer cells, Theo relapsed at 21 months old, on January 17th, 2019. He’s currently receiving chemotherapy. In case you’d like to help, please consider donating to Theo’s GofundMe or Paypal. I’ll leave links below!
