Precious Piper shows no fear towards cancer; She shows her courage instead. Piper was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma (mycn amplified, a gene mutation). Neuroblastoma is known as one of the most aggressive types of childhood cancer. At Diagnosis Piper was a mere 20 days away from her very first birthday (11.5 months old). Tumors were all over – Adrenal glands (above the kidneys), Liver, Ovary, Lymph Nodes, chest cavity and abdomen. So far this Warrior had 5 rounds of chemotherapy, surgery to remove her adrenal gland, stem cell rescue (or more commonly known as transplant) , 12 rounds of radiation and needs 6 months of immunotherapy.
