Super Ryder is a Brain Cancer survivor – Aggressive malignant “unspecified” brain tumor. It was not determined which type of cancer Ryder has.
Ryder was brought to the ER twice, and shrugged off both times, even after her eye started moving inward. Being told it was because Ryder was tired from school, Ryder’s mom left and called another doctor.
On March 27th, 2018 a CT scan revealed a baseball-sized tumor that was to be removed very soon due to its proximity to the spinal cord. 2 days later it was successfully removed 💪
Ryder did 3 rounds of chemotherapy, from May of 2018 to July of 2018. Followed by 3 stem cell transplants, August, September, and October of 2018 and last but not least, she needed 6 weeks / 30 treatments of focal radiation therapy, beginning in December and finished in January of 2019. Last scans were done a couple days ago and they show NED – No evidence of disease!
Prayers are appreciated for Ryder’s next MRI in May!
Great Job Fighter Ryder! 💛
