Super Alessandro is 6 years old and battling Burkitt’s Lymphoma. He was born in Venezuela, where right now there is a grave humanitarian crisis – several medications for oncologic patients are missing, despite being essential.
So Alessandro and his family traveled to Florida,US, to have the treatment he needs that isn’t available in Venezuela. Alessandro isn’t insured, that means they have to pay the totality of treatments, hospitalizations, etc. Many families in the United States go bankrupt to pay for cancer treatment. Alessandro needs $100,000 at least for now. He has just finished his 2nd cycle of chemotherapy (March ,th, 2019 ) with 5 more to go!
Alessandro’s dream is to be a Professional Baseball player!
