Sweet little Teig is a cancer survivor! 💛
In July of 2016, Teig was diagnosed with Stage 3 parameningeal Rhabdomyosarcoma, on her skull/head.
She was a mere 2 years old at diagnosis, but nonetheless, she fought with all her might! She had 10 months of weekly/daily chemotherapy, as well as 28 radiation treatments to her face/head.
It all started when Teig had surgery to clean out a “bad ear infection” that turned into multiple tissue biopsies, that turned out to be cancer. She had surgery to put her port in shortly after diagnosis and to remove it, a year later. She also needed surgery to place a feeding tube.
After fighting relentlessly, this summer Teig will be cancer free for 2 years.
